Sequins, beads, or gems
Book the Rainbow Fish or Amy’s story reading video
What to Do:
1) Read or listen to the story of The Rainbow Fish. Even if your child has heard it before, re-reading stories is a wonderful way to develop literacy and vocabulary. Discuss the characters feelings throughout, look at the pictures, and talk about the setting.
2) Help your child to roll out the playdoh. Cut out a fish shape by hand or use a cutter if you have one.
3) Let your child get creative with sticking sequins into the playdoh. Talk about the shapes and colors. Discuss the story and how Rainbow fish shared his scales with his friends.
